This infographic project was a deeply personal and creative exploration of my music habits, blending data analysis and design into a visually engaging narrative. The goal was to examine my current listening patterns by analyzing and categorizing the playlists I’ve curated over the past year on Spotify. The infographic serves as a snapshot of my musical identity, showcasing not only the genres and songs I gravitate toward but also the emotional and practical roles music plays in my life.

Each column in the infographic represents a playlist, while the colors signify genres, ranging from pop and indie pop to country, afro pop, and musicals. By associating these colors with the songs and their emotional attributes—like relatable lyrics, emotional significance, or being perfect for long commutes—the design captures the intersection of data and storytelling.

As a graphic designer, this project was an opportunity to merge creativity with functionality. The challenge was to ensure the data was both informative and aesthetically pleasing, making it accessible to viewers at a glance. By combining bold colors and clean typography with a logical layout, I worked to create a piece that reflected not only the data but also my personal connection to the music.
