
BRAND STRATEGY AND DESIGN
SUMMER WIND INN
This project allowed me to bring The Summer Wind Inn to life through a cohesive and vibrant brand identity while highlighting my skills in graphic design, photography, and social media management. I created a comprehensive brand kit, including a logo, color palette, and typography, to establish a consistent visual language across all platforms and materials.
A key accomplishment was designing and building an entirely new website from scratch. Every picture and graphic used on the website and social media was photographed, styled, and edited by me, ensuring the visuals authentically reflected the charm and character of The Summer Wind Inn.
The marketing proposal I developed outlined strategies to enhance visibility and attract renters through digital and physical mediums. I launched and managed Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts, crafting content to engage audiences and showcase the inn’s unique appeal. Additionally, I designed promotional materials such as flyers, business cards, merchandise, stickers, and magnets to create a tangible connection with guests and bolster brand recognition.
As a graphic designer and social media content creator, the purpose of this project was to apply design and marketing principles to a real-world scenario, demonstrating how cohesive branding and storytelling can create an impactful and memorable experience. Building every element from the ground up, from visuals to strategy, honed my technical, creative, and organizational skills while underscoring the importance of adaptability, audience engagement, and attention to detail.
This project served as a dynamic learning experience, blending design, strategy, and personal creativity to build a brand that not only resonated with its audience but also aligned with my aspirations in content creation and brand management.
